Pistols

Beretta 92FS Inox

Andre (Mekhi Phifer) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox as his weapon of pick. This pistol is also used by other characters, mainly CJ (Michael Kelly) when he clears out the lower level of the mall of any zombies. Kenneth (Ving Rhames) also gets a hold of this weapon when he disarms CJ and holds information technology on him during the argument on the rooftop of the mall. Steve (Ty Burrell) can also been seen with a Beretta 92FS Inox with blued components (trigger, hammer, prophylactic, disassembly latch, and slide release) when he gets out of the crashed bus, a continuity error is seen when the referred parts are stainless when he checks the gun's load.

And now those parts are stainless when Steve checks the load.

Glock 21

After the survivors load up at the gun shop, several Glock 21 pistols are seen afterwards. CJ (Michael Kelly) hands a pair of the pistols to a wounded Tucker (Boyd Banks) to fight off the zombies chasing them in the sewers while they make their fashion dorsum to the mall, CJ also uses ane of these pistols as his back up weapon, and uses information technology to to explode a propane tank while at the docks so that the zombies can't attain the remaining survivors.

Glock 21 - .45 ACP

CJ fires his Glock 21 at a zombie in the stairwell. The Glock seen here is a not gun.

The telltale "poof" of fume indicates the Non Gun.

CJ uses his Glock to concord off the zombies. This shot shows the slide reads ".45 Machine", making it a 21.

A magazine drops out of CJ'southward Glock, ".45" can be seen engraved at the top of the mag, this also suggests the model of the gun is a Glock 21 chambered in .45 ACP.

CJ uses his Glock 21 to ignite a flare before shooting a propane tank, causing the jitney he'south in to explode. Trivia annotation: Michael Kelly did actually ignite the flare past firing the blank gun close to it, something the crew did not expect to happen on the first take.

Heckler & Koch USP

When Kenneth (Ving Rhames), CJ (Michael Kelly), Terry (Kevin Zegers), and Michael (Jake Weber) enter Andy'southward gun store to rescue Nicole (Lindy Booth), they detect an unloaded Heckler & Koch USP laying on the bloody floor. This is presumed to exist the gun Andy was using to fend off zombies while letting the dog Chips, outfitted with food, through a doggy door before being bitten and infected by a zombie. This pistol is seen in the easily of Michael (Jake Weber) at the end.

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 27

Two of the mall's security guards are seen with the Smith & Wesson Model 27. CJ (Michael Kelly) is seen with a Smith & Wesson Model 27 .357 Magnum during his initial standoff with the other survivors. The revolver besides is seen in the easily of Terry (Kevin Zegers). Later in the film, a struggle ensues betwixt the survivors that are currently in the mall and the former security guards on whether or non to let more survivors into the mall with CJ threatening to impale anybody to stay alive, but when he is distracted, the survivors disarm both CJ and Bart (Michael Barry). The revolver is also seen in the hands of and then mainly used by Michael (Jake Weber) for the rest of the motion-picture show.

Smith & Wesson Model 66 (Snub)

Norma (Jayne Eastwood) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 66 snub olfactory organ revolver as her weapon in the pic. The weapon is also used by Ana (Sarah Polley) and is also seen when the survivors get to rescue Nicole (Lindy Booth) at Andy's gun store.

Smith & Wesson Revolver "Non Gun"

During the fight to the gun shop, CJ's hand is seen using a Smith & Wesson Model 66 "Not Gun" against a zombie at close range, temporarily replacing the Smith & Wesson Model 66 caused from Norma. Subsequently, while the survivors make their escape out of Milwaukee, Ana (Sarah Polley) uses the "Non Gun", also temporarily replacing the Smith & Wesson Model 66, to put a bullet into the head of a zombified Steve (Ty Burrell). This "Non Gun" was used because Polley was close to Burrell when shooting this scene, and at such close range, blanks can be considered unsafe, so a "non gun" was used. Monica (Kim Poirier) uses a 6 inch "Non Gun" revolver in the motorcoach scene.

Shotguns

Remington 870 (Law Magnum)

Kenneth (Ving Rhames) uses a police issue Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a Surefire flashlight attachment on the foregrip as his signature weapon. He uses it for most of the picture show until the survivors become to rescue Nicole (Lindy Booth). He loses the weapon when it runs out of ammunition and a zombie grabs it out of his hand. The gun was also briefly used by Ana (Sarah Polley) to incapacitate the undead Ben Cozine early in the film.

Remington 870 (Express Tactical)

During the nuance to the truck, Kenneth'south Police 870 turns into an Limited Tactical model (as evidenced by the factory-extended 7-shot tube) with the same Surefire flashlight combination forend. This weapon is seen when the weapon is taken from Kenneth by encroaching zombies and more conspicuously in the extended version in a removed sequence of Kenneth shooting a zombie in the head at close-range.

Remington 870 Limited Tactical with synthetic piece of furniture and mill-extended 7-shot tube.

Kenneth struggles to level the weapon at the zombie. Notice the length of the tube in relation to the muzzle and the lens of the Surefire forend.

Kenneth fires; the tube length is still slightly discernible here.

Kenneth lets his weapon become ripped abroad to save himself. The tube length is all the same extended, and nosotros tin can also see that it is not an aftermarket extension accessory just a solid mill extension, thereby proving that this is a completely different gun than the one seen previous to this. Even so, because it retains the original hero gun's Surefire forend, the original must have been on hand to be able to dress the Limited Tactical to resemble it. Regardless, it is clear that the original was indeed replaced with this one for unknown reasons during the filming of this short sequence.

Customized Remington 870

Afterward the survivors rescue Nicole (Lindy Booth) and load up at the gun store, Kenneth (Ving Rhames) packs a customized Remington 870 shotgun fitted with a mag extension tube and Mossberg-style ghost ring sights (this is possible since some parts are hands swapped between Remington 870 and Mossberg 500 series shotguns) and uses it while the remaining survivors make their escape out of Milwaukee. Kenneth about notably uses this shotgun on a zombified Andy (Bruce Bohne). Ving likewise knows how to utilise a weapon effectively, because he doesn't flinch excessively and whenever he isn't firing, he demonstrates the fantabulous trigger discipline of a Marine.

Franchi PA8

When the survivors load up at the Andy's (Bruce Bohne) gun store, CJ (Michael Kelly) arms himself with a Franchi PA8 with a manufacturing plant folding stock and loftier-chapters mag tube, and uses it while they make their escape out of Milwaukee. From the written report of the gun and the look of the wounds information technology inflicts, it seems he is using rifled slugs.

Rifles

Winchester Model lxx

Andy (Bruce Bohne), the owner of the gun store across the street, is armed with what appears to be a Winchester Model 70 fitted in a camouflage-painted stock with a folding bipod which he uses to play "Hollywood Squares" with the other survivors stranded in the mall on the other side of the street in which Kenneth (Ving Rhames) shows Andy a glory's name on a dry erase board, and Andy puts a bullet in the zombie look-a-like'southward head. CJ (Michael Kelly) afterwards uses Andy'south rifle to explode a propane tank to articulate a path to the sewers for the other survivors.

DVD Special Feature "Andy'south Terrifying Concluding Days Revealed"

An extra featurette on the DVD release features a 'recovered dwelling video' of the gun store owner Andy (Bruce Bohne), and his dealing with the zombie outbreak from (by and large) inside his gun shop. In this featurette, the following firearms are seen -

Heckler & Koch MP5A2

In some scenes, Andy (Bruce Bohne) tin be seen carrying around an Heckler & Koch MP5A2 with a Surefire forend weaponlight, but is never seen firing it.

In some scenes, Andy (Bruce Bohne) can be seen with what looks like a SIG-Sauer SSG 3000. Although he used a Winchester Model seventy in the film, information technology's quite possible that it could have been one of the many other guns in Andy's shop.
